“The Priory School has a very proud history of providing education that is balanced, varied and moves with the demands of the times, hence our successful step in becoming a co-educational school, with the Sixth Form re-launching in 2012.

However, none of this success could be possible without setting ourselves high goals, meeting a more than satisfactory level of teaching and offering the very best in facilities to aid in the very best educational environment for all our pupils. Therefore, our classroom sizes are kept small and manageable, ensuring each child has a good personal relationship with staff members, whilst our surroundings include 14 acres of grounds, incorporating open space, gardens and sporting facilities. Such features enable us to create a stimulating friendly, family environment, as well as allowing the children to develop confidence, independence and values.

Scholarships…

In celebration of their impressive ISI inspection we are awarding 10 scholarships to pupils who will be entering Year 9 in September 2011.

The recent inspection described the school as a living example of a very happy multi-cultural society where the curriculum is excellent and high quality staff who know their pupils extremely well.  The report also stated that "the pupils have positive attitudes to learning and involvement in activities.  They are eager to participate, are confident in individual, pair and group work, and they take pride in their high standards of presentation."
